NGC 436

NGC 436 is a small open cluster located in Cassiopeia, not far away from the more famous Owl or E.T. Cluster. Discovered by William Herschel in 1787.

NGC 381 is an open cluster located in Cassiopeia, somewhat difficult to make out due the the large number of stars visible in this area of the sky. Its estimated age is around 300 million years.

NGC 654

NGC 654 is a open cluster located in Cassiopeia. A relative young cluster with around 80 members. A hite of a dust lane can be seen to the lower right of the cluster, and some of the outer members show a bit of reddening due to dust layers between us and the cluster.

It is an open cluster located in the constellation of Cassiopeia. It is a small and remote cluster at a distance of about 10,000 light years and contains around 100 members. It has an estimated age of around 25 million years.

NGC 7023 Iris Nebula

NGC 7023 is a refection nebula, blue light from central hot young star SAO 19158 reflects off the dust grains illuminating the nebula. The nebula spans some 6 light years across. Spent some 33 hours imaging this object over August and September 2019.

NGC6940 is an open cluster located in Vulpecula. Some what difficult to see the cluster against the rich background of stars, the actual cluster contains several hundred members. Estimated age is 700+ million years and at distance of 2,500 light years.
